Itinerary of Komodo Liveaboard Tour
Day 1 : Arrival Labuan Bajo – Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Rinca Island (-/L/D)
This Komodo Liveaboard tour will start with the first flight of the day to Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores. Labuan Bajo is now a busy and it is a bustling centre of tourism since it is the entry point for trips to see the world-famous Komodo Dragons, or Varanus Komodensis. Upon arrival, you will then directly transfer to Labuan Bajo Harbour to embark on liveaboard journey.
We start sailing towards Komodo Island, one of the best locations to see the dragons in their natural habitat. On arrival at the island, you will get a safety briefing and then start trekking from Loh Liang by following the trails of the dragons’ walking paths with a local ranger.
We can only observe the dragons from a safe distance as the dragon is dangerous. Then we will have a quick stop at the local museum before we return to the boat to continue the journey to Pink Beach. You have a chance to enjoy swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling (snorkeling gear is provided). Then we continue on to Rinca Island and your Boat will be positioned nearby the island during your first night in the Komodo National park area. Lunch and Dinner will be on Boat. Overnight on Boat
Day 2 : Rinca Island – Kelor Island – Departure Labuan Bajo (B/L/-)
Breakfast is onboard. Afterwards we continue to have 2-hour trekking on Rinca Island. It provides the opportunity to see more dragons, as well as other animals on the island. Then we cruise to Kelor Island for snorkeling around the island (snorkeling gear is provided). Please enjoy lunch when the Boat starts sailing back to Labuan Bajo harbor. Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, then transfer directly to Komodo Airport for your onward journey with wonderful memories of your visit.
