Komodo Day Tour is a perfect tour to discover Komodo Dragon and surroundings in limited time. This Komodo Day Tour mostly starts from Labuan Bajo and end in Labuan Bajo or Komodo Day Tour from Bali. There an opportunity to see as much as you can but it depends on the Boat you choose. We can use Local wooden Boat which is slower in comparing with fast Boat, but all depend on the Budget you want to spend or how much things you want to see.

If you want to see Komodo Island, Pink Beach, Padar Island, snorkel in pristine beach with crystal clear water, we recommend you to use speedboat to get to all the places. but if you focus only to see Komodo dragon, Rinca island is a good choice and it is only 2 hours away from Labuan Bajo with Local wooden Boat.

Itinerary of Komodo Day Tour

A very early departure from your hotel will ensure arrival in Komodo during the time the dragons are most active! Meet your assigned guide in the hotel and transfer to Labuan Bajo Harbour to embark on a local wooden boat. Arrive at Loh Liang, your trekking starting point just before 9 AM and enjoy a pleasant walk deep into dragon territory. Continue your journey with a short boat ride to Pink Beach, where you will have time for snorkeling and enjoy the amazing sight of this unique beach.

After having lunch on board, the exploration continues to Rinca Island, one of the best locations to see the dragons in their natural habitat. Enjoy an approximate 2-hour soft trek on the island in search of the dragons, guided by a local ranger and witness again the majesty of these unique prehistoric monsters.

        • It is harder to spot the komodo dragons during the mating season (July to August). Best time to visit is between April until June (dry season, manta season – best time for snorkeling, diving on the north side of the Komodo National Park, and for overland journeys). September to October is whale season, manta season, and komodo season
