Flores Komodo Tour is a combination package tour to discover Flores and Komodo Island. This 8-day package tour combines Flores and Komodo Island. It provides you with an opportunity to explore the best places to visit in Flores and Komodo Island. Therefore, It is in the program to visit the old Church in Maumere and Trekking to Kelimutu Mountain to the Crater to see the Kelimutu 3 color lakes, Boat Trip in Riung to visit 17 Island in Riung National Park, Bena Village in Bajawa with cool atmosphere of the old city of Ruteng with its spiderweb rice field nearby.  And then a chance to see the komodo dragons and explore more of the Komodo National Park and to snorkel in the pristine waters of superb snorkeling spots.

Itinerary of Flores Komodo Tour

Day 1: Arrival Maumere – Moni (D)

Arrival at Maumere Airport, meet and greet by our local guide and you will begin your drive to Moni, a picturesque village located near to Kelimutu Lake. On the way, you will stop at a local fishing village to discover the life of the Bugis and Bajo people who still live in traditionally constructed houses with the impressive Mount Egon as the background. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Sikka and explore an old church built in 1889 reflecting the Portuguese influence in Flores at the time. Your last stop of the day will be the beautiful white sand Koka Beach with crystal clear waters perfect for a cooling swim, before arriving at your lodge in Moni where you will spend the night. Lunch will be served at local restaurant Dinner & accommodation at KELIMUTU ECO LODGE

Day 2:    Kelimutu – Riung (B)

Depart in the early morning at 04:00 am from your hotel and drive to Mount Kelimutu, with its three -colored crater lakes, that is probably the most amazing natural phenomenon in Nusa Tenggara. The color has dramatic changed in the last 20 years and now it has turquoise, Blue and dark green. In the morning is the best opportunities to enjoy sunrise (if the weather permitted), then return to Hotel for Breakfast. After having breakfast, then transfer from Moni to Riung. On the way to Riung, we will visit Blue Paddle Beach the wonderful beach with green and different color stones. Overnight will be in Pondok SVD Riung

Day 3:    Riung – Boot Tour to Kalong – Pulau Tiga & Rutong Island (B/L)

After breakfast, we continue to visit Riung National Park. We take Boat trip to Kalong, Pulau Tiga & Rutong Island. Enjoy the crystal clear water and the beautiful coral and Enjoy the snorkeling, swimming and beach relaxing in Riung National Park.    Overnight will be in Pondok SVD Riung

Day 4:    Riung – Soa – Bena Village – Bajawa (B)

After breakfast, we proceed to So’a Hot Spring Water for relaxing and then proceed to visit Bena Traditional Village. Continue drive for your Hotel in Bajawa. Overnight in Edelweis Bajawa

Day 5:    Bajawa – Aimere Village – Ranamese Lake – Ruteng (B)

After breakfast, we then proceed to Ruteng. On the way to Ruteng, we will visit Aimere Village to see Arak process. Photo stop at Ranamese crater Lake to see the panoramic of Ranamese’s Lake. Overnight in Sindha Hotel Ruteng

Day 6:    Ruteng – Spiderweb Rice field – Labuan Bajo (B)

This morning you will visit Rutengpuu, a traditional Manggarainese village to see their unique slander-shaped houses and spend time with the local people. Afterwards, continue your journey overland towards Labuan Bajo with stops at Lembor and Cancar where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of rice fields.

Then We will continue to village Warsawe where you can join 60 minutes’ walk through the Rainforest, relatively untouched by the modern world to Cunca Wulang Waterfall, and then it is possible to enjoy swimming. Afterwards we will drive through to Labuan Bajo. Lunch will be served at Local Restaurant and Overnight will be at Puri Sari Hotel Labuan Bajo

Day 07: Labuan Bajo-Kanawa  – Rinca Island – Kalong     [B/L/D]

In the Morning you will be pick up and transfer directly to the harbor, then continue by local boat to Kanawa island. When arrive in Kanawa, you can do snorkeling and swimming around the island. Lunch will be served on board while you proceed to Rinca Island.

Upon arrival in Rinca, then with your assigned ranger, explore the island to see the activities of the fascinating Komodo dragons in their pure and natural environment as well as wild pig, buffalo and birds. In the Afternoon we continue to Kalong Island where you will discover thousands of giant bats out of their nests on the mangrove forest hunting for food. Dinner and overnight will be on Board (Cabin boat with fan / AC Cabin)

Day 08: Kalong – Padar – Departure [B/L/D]

In the early morning around 04.00, we continue the program around 3 hours cruise to the uninhabited Padar Island. This is the third largest island of the National Park and walk to the highest point on the island to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Then cruise back to Labuan Bajo to catch your flight to next destination.
